Suggestions for what to put in your body (hey, no wisecracking)

The latest installment of rules I don’t follow…

1) Don’t have a drink if you think you need one.

2) Don’t have a cigarette, ever.

3) Don’t eat food because it tastes good. Eat food because it tastes good and you have room in your stomach for it.

4) Drink as much water as you possibly can. It’s still not enough.

5) No matter how tasty, don’t eat food that your body has a hard time with. Not worth it. (OK, maybe a scoch just to find out what it tastes like.)

6) Note carefully what and how overweight people eat. Then don’t do it.

7) Don’t tell people on psychiatric medications that they “don’t need it,” unless you are their psychiatrist.

8) If you have a healthy diet, don’t chide people who don’t. Just keep dropping references to how much better you feel.

9) If you don’t have a healthy diet, watch what and how healthy people eat. Then do it.

10) Don’t spit out a list of 10 items just so you can make it to number 10. Nine is fine if that’s all you got.
